Enrolment

• A student’s enrollment in Realfun’s classes is only confirmed when the Realfun app has notified the parent of the status of the enrollment OR a confirmatory follow up message has been delivered via whatsapp.
• Parents who have signed up to our free trial will receive a 50 minute introductory lesson before being asked to enroll and be given an invoice after enrolment.

Student Progress

• At Realfun, we believe that all students are different. Some may grasp the coding concepts quicker, but some may need more practice to do so. Therefore, the duration for each course may vary from student to student. For example, if two students join at the same time, same age, they may not complete the same level at the same time.
• Our target is to complete each course (Level 1 to 6) within 48 sessions (1.5 hours per session) but some students may need longer or shorter duration to complete, depending on their ability. We will keep the parents updated on student’s progress through our app, and if you have any questions feel free to reach out to us anytime to find out more about the children’s progress during their enrolment with us.

Class Schedule

• Majority of the classes are once a week, 1.5 hours, and four times a month.
• For latest class timings, please reach out to us through Whatsapp / Email to enquire.
• Public holidays do not have classes (unless otherwise specified). For the latest class holiday please refer to our calendar. (www.realfun.my/calendar)

Attendance and Absenteeism

• If a student is late by more than 30 minutes to class, they will be marked absent and no replacement class will be offered.

Cancellation and Replacement Classes

• Parents must contact Realfun Admin at a minimum of one working day in advance to request for replacement if the student cannot attend the upcoming lesson. Replacement class will be given based on the convenience and availability of both student and teacher.
• If a student cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances at the last minute, and has properly communicated to Admin, a replacement class may be granted on a case by case basis.
• Realfun reserves the right to cancel classes due to temporary interruptions and shall endeavour to use its discretion to inform parents. In the event of such an occurrence, a replacement class will be offered.
• Maximum number of replacement class to be scheduled will be 4 only. Any classes missed after the maximum will not be replaced, except the replacement classes are initiated by teacher who couldn’t make it to class.

Withdrawal and refunds

• Parents may withdraw their children from classes but are required to notify Realfun Admin prior to next invoice payment.
• We do not provide any refunds to payment that has been made. However, free trial classes are available for students to sign up prior to making a commitment.

Payment Terms

• Course fees are non-negotiable and invoices are issued on the 1st of the month and are due by the 7th of the month.
• Late payment or nonpayment by the specified due date may result in removal from the course. In the event this occurs, a parent will be duly notified before action is taken.
• Realfun reserves the right to alter course fees at any time but in the event this occurs, parents who have registered prior to the announcement will have course fees honoured at the original price.

Learning Resources and Intellectual Property

• Learning materials and access rights to the learning platform are owned by Realfun Centre and may be revoked at our discretion.
• Projects produced in class are owned by students, however, Realfun reserved the right to showcase exceptional projects on promotional material.

Discipline and Safety

• Students must refrain from engaging in disruptive behaviour, such as interrupting lessons, using profanities, aggressive behaviour inducing injury, and non-compliance with instruction or risk being removed from the class.
• When a student refuses to work on projects, or maintain progress with lesson plans, they may face disciplinary action. However, parents will be notified before any action will be taken.
• Realfun Centre accepts no responsibility for losses or damages to your child’s property.

Parental Involvement

• It remains the obligation of parents to ensure the student has the equipment and internet access necessary to participate in class.
• Your child is not allowed to record photos, videos or screenshots of their peers during class without the express approval of a teacher from Realfun Centre.
• Realfun may ask a parent to pay for any damages to equipment and learning resources caused by their child in class.
• You acknowledge that Realfun Centre is not liable for performance delays or non performance due to unforeseeable circumstances.

Privacy

By enrolling in Realfun Learning, you consent for Realfun Centre to take photographs and videos of the children during class and at events for promotional material and indemnify Realfun Centre from any claims of liability.
